ABOUT ME
Sometimes your path is easy to find.
For me, that was the case. My mom always told me, “Go to college and work for a good company.” That’s the right path for many people. And, if that’s you, I’m here for you. That’s why I built my recruiting company, McKinley and Co, and my non-profit, I-Impact. I support the Black community and help them build and grow successful careers.
While the college-to-corporate path is right for some, it wasn’t for me.
I did go to college and work in corporate America, but for me, it wasn’t exactly the American Dream. I experienced racism. I didn’t have control over my destiny, income, or life. I needed a different path.
That’s why I went off on my own and took control of my destiny.
As a personal note, my business would not exist without my supportive husband Ray. He keeps our lives running while I focus on supporting my customers.
I built McKinley and Co, a healthcare recruiting agency that specializes in hiring Physicians, Nurses and Clinicians.
A nonprofit organization that prepares future (ages 14-24) professionals and entrepreneurs by providing college and career readiness through an introduction to entrepreneurship for youth. Now introducing our new Group Home opening November 2023!!
F**k the Fairytale has nothing to do with Cinderella stories and glass slippers. It is really an expression of the anger one feels as an African American in the workplace. This experience has began the execute conference bringing aspiring entrepreneurs together to start their business by providing step by step process and resources necessary to ignite your business.
